Points Information Release

To keep the playing field level as possible, the UMP Open Wheel Modifieds Points Race Begins Friday April 16,
and ends Sunday September 26.

The only point race after that is the UMP Nationals at Eldora, Ohio October 9th, 10th and at a mid south track late October yet to be designated.

A driver counts his 1 best finish each week. 23 for the year. Once a driver has recorded 23 races, he can replace a bad finish with a better finish. No driver can record over 23 races for the year.

Points are computed as follows:
60, 53, 48, 40, 35, 32, 29, 23
Everyone else in the feature 18.
Everyone attending with operable car not making feature 10

Modifieds count either heat or consi 4, 3, 2, 1. All UMP members receive 10 National Bonus Points and 5 state bonus points each week you are a member.
Points weeks begin on Monday and end on Sunday.

UMP Super Late Models
Points Information Release

To keep the playing field as level as possible, thee UMP Super Late Model point race begins Friday April 2 and ends Sunday October 10.

The only point race on October 10 is the UMP Nationals at Eldora Ohio. A driver may count his best 2 finishes up to April 4.

Once a driver has recorded 52 races, he can replace a bad finish with a better finish. No late model driver can record more than 52 races for the year.

Point weeks begin on Monday and end on Sunday.

All American Late Model Series races race by UMP rules and receive UMP points.

Northern All Stars, Hav a Tampa, Stars etc. do not race by UMP rules and therefore can not and do not receive UMP points.
